One coffee, three hours, one café table. Am I overstaying my welcome?

I like working in a local café. I buy a drink and sometimes stay for three hours. The café has outlets and Wi-Fi, and I always clean up after myself.

Last week the place got busy, and another customer commented that people with laptops were taking all the seats. The staff haven’t asked me to leave.

Should I buy something every hour, leave when it gets busy, or is buying a drink enough?
